The main objective of FISE is to foster spaces that promote business between exhibitors and their potential and current clients, as well as access to new business contacts and partnerships. This is why, in addition to the commercial exhibition, FISE offers you additional alternatives to promote meetings between the exhibitors and potential buyers in a more favorable and appropriate environment for this purpose, and to share with them their products and services in a more focused and simpler framework.
International business meetings
Business meetings hosted in collaboration with PROCOLOMBIA and the Medellin Mayor’s Office.
The objective of the international business meetings is to bring international buyers to meet those exhibitors who are national manufacturers and have export capacity and / or experience. These buyers are selected by FISE and PROCOLOMBIA based on the exhibitors’ market growth expectations and their potential clients.
For the eighth edition, we hosted 60 buyers from the LATAM Region (Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Peru, Puerto Rico), Mexico and the United States, and around 500 business meetings were held between exhibitors and specialized buyers who came in search of suppliers for their imports and at FISE they found a diverse range of very good quality suppliers.
National business meetings
Business meetings hosted in collaboration with the Medellin Mayor’s Office and the Medellin Chamber of Commerce for Antioquia with its Medellin Ciudad Cluster program.
The objective of the national business meetings is to bring national buyers to meet the national exhibitors. These buyers are selected by FISE, and the Medellin Ciudad Cluster program based on the exhibitors’ market growth expectations and their potential clients.
For the eighth edition, we hosted 60 national buyers, with representatives from the vast majority of utilities (Electrificadora de Santander, Empresas Públicas de Medellín, GECELCA, Grupo Energía Bogotá, ISAGEN) and nearly 600 business meetings.
At FISE we seek that our exhibitors can connect with their target market, for this reason, we also create spaces where companies have the opportunity to participate in activities focused in facilitating interaction between attendees, buyers, and exhibitors to identify business opportunities, exchange specialized knowledge and develop partnerships and joint projects.
All exhibitors can participate in these activities, with a special focus on international exhibitors.
As well as these activities, FISE continuously seeks to foster other dynamics that promote meetings and business between exhibitors and attendees, in additional spaces looking to expand the spectrum of participants and beneficiaries.
