Medellín
Medellin is the second most important city in Colombia, and capital of the department of Antioquia; its average temperature is 24º and it is located at 1,479 meters above sea level; It has an area of 105 square kilometers of urban land, 270 of rural land and 5.2 of land for expansion. The city is located in the center of the Aburrá Valley, in the Central Cordillera Mountain range, and the Aburrá Medellin River runs from south to north.
According to the 2018 census data, from the National Administrative Department of Statistics -DANE-, that year Medellin had a population of 2,427,129 inhabitants, 47% men and 53% women, which makes it the second most populated city in Colombia.
Economically, Medellin is a city that stands out as one of the main financial, industrial, commercial, and service centers of Colombia, primarily in textiles, clothing, metalworking, electrical and electronic, telecommunications, automotive, food and health sectors.

Metro
Both the Alpujarra and Exposiciones metro train stations are located near Plaza Mayor, and they have signposts that will facilitate the attendees’ arrival to the venue.
Metroplus
The Plaza Mayor station has direct access to Plaza Interamericana and is also connected to the Administrative Center La Alpujarra.
Private vehicle
Plaza Mayor has 730 parking spaces distributed in different areas according to each venue. These parking lots are completely available for each of the events.
Bicycles
The city has cycling paths that allow access to Plaza Mayor by Av. San Juan. Additionally, there are 100 outdoor bicycle parking spaces available for free use by the entire community.
